Dearest Praying Friends,

The Lord spoke to me out of the book of Joel, where it says "Blow the trumpet in Zion [San Francisco]! Declare a day of repentance, a holy fast day. Call a public meeting. Get everyone there. Consecrate the congregation. Make sure the elders come, but bring in the children, too, even the nursing babies, Even men and women on their honeymoon--interrupt them and get them there. Between Sanctuary entrance and altar, let the priests, God's servants, weep tears of repentance. Let them intercede: 'have mercy, God, on your people! Don't let the pagans take over and rule them and sneer, and say where is this God of theirs?'" Joel 2:15

For the past few months, many prophetic voices have been crying out about judgments coming on California, and San Francisco in general. We are in a Joel's hour as never before. I believe with all my heart that it is time for warriors to arise with focused intercession.

The Lord made it clear to me that we, as Americans, are on the cusp of our civilization. We are either going to go forward, becoming the "city set on a hill" that was dreamed of by our forefathers or we will lose our greatness.

What's New with MHOP?

Fulfilling a prophecy given in May, Mike Jacobs has been appointed as the new leader of the Marketplace House of Prayer (MHOP). He is training marketplace leaders in reformation teaching with an anointing to lead business leaders in the ways of the Lord. Mike has vision for Christ's transforming power in the business world, governmental structures, the church, and the community at large, and brings a depth of wisdom, prophetic revelation and practical knowledge for marketplace ministry.
