Roe v. Wade is Overturned

RPN

"For you formed my inward parts;
    you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
    my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
    intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
    the days that were formed for me,
    when as yet there was none of them."
(Psalms 139:13-16; ESV)

Many of us in the prayer movement, including myself, have been praying for 40-plus years for the overturning of Roe vs Wade.

As I have talked to various people today, we have all been in tears at the lives that will be saved from this date.

I prophesied twenty years ago that one day a memorial to the holocaust of the unborn children would be built on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and that will happen!

Special thanks go to Lou Engle and Matt Lockett, and their teams who have prayed tirelessly to see this day happen. Thank you to so many who have contended to choose Life in America, including each of you who fasted and prayed countless days and hours. We are seeing the results of that intercession today.

So, what happens now? There are 13 states with "trigger laws" making abortion illegal or limiting abortion in the state once Roe is overturned, either immediately or in a short period of time. Listed in order of their waiting period, they are Kentucky, Louisianna, South Dakota, Idaho, Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming.1

While we rejoice today at this decision, most state laws will still allow abortion up to the time a heartbeat is detected or up to 15 weeks. Please know that Life will never be fully protected until it is acknowledged that life begins at conception. We will continue to believe for that and we will see that day!

We also need to step up prayer and the creation of solutions for the many new babies that will be born now and in the future. We need increased support for Pregnancy Centers. We need many new adoption agencies, and other supportive organizations. Of course, we know many women, and men, have been affected by abortion and there will be a need for counseling, healing, and deliverance.

And one more thing, ask the Lord to guard our cities, churches, pregnancy centers, and other places where Life is honored. We've heard some violent groups are planning protests across the nation this weekend. May the Lord and His angelic hosts intervene and give us peace.
