Join a broad coalition of churches, denominations and ministries globally in setting aside the first Sunday of October annually in the spirit of Jeremiah 29:7, Psalm 91: 7-11 and Romans 13:1-2 to appoint a designated time of prayer in our churches and other gatherings of worship to intercede for protection from global terrorism and for those who wear a of shield of protection (police, fire fighters, first-responders, etc.) as they seek to protect our citizens from harm and danger.

These upcoming national elections are crucial for America. They will either make or break the nation. The only possible hope for America is PRAYER.

On Monday, we had a conference call with David Barton. David Barton is the Founder and President of WallBuilders (a national pro-family organization that presents America's forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious and constitutional heritage).

The United States is clearly a nation in trouble. A battered economy, political divisiveness, the culture wars, racial uneasiness, and a sidelined church, provide the dry tinder for an inflammatory national election in November of 2016. Many stake their hopes or fears on the outcome.

Scripture reveals believers are called after the order of Melchizedek, who was a royal priest upon a throne, and Revelation 5 tells us we are a nation of kings and priests (Heb. 5-7; Rev. 5:10). God recently released fresh anointing to those who will bring change to relationships between the church and government mountains.

Our hearts are heavy as we consider the deep pain facing countless people around the world right now.

There have been brutal attacks in Bangladesh and Iraq in the past week, and it hurts to see such vulnerable countries shaken once again by violence.

The first season of the “As One: An Appeal to Heaven” prayer walking campaign is complete, and the reports are starting to come in. What wonderful news we are hearing across the nation from those who participated. Even though the lead-in time was short, over 23,000 Christians across all denominational lines signed up on the website to join in. We are sure there were many more who participated, but did not make their locations known through the website.

Many of you may have already seen this key Word of the Lord that Chuck Pierce sent out last week. We agree with this prophetic word and believe that it will help us know how to navigate our way forward through the next season. Please read the excerpt below from Chuck’s newsletter and pray with us over the next month in alignment with the points for prayer that we have added below.

Earlier this week, Europe suffered more terrorist attacks—two at the Zaventem Airport and one at the Maelbeek underground station in the heart of Brussels. Islamic shouts were heard as the attacks commenced, and the Islamic State has since claimed responsibility. The city of Brussels and every road leaving Belgium are shut down while perpetrators are being diligently sought.

As a coordinated effort between several national ministries, we are going to prayer walk every zip code in the nation! Can you believe it?

It was discovered Saturday morning that Justice Antonin Scalia died unexpectantly at Cibola Ranch, near Marfa, TX, as reported in a number of news sources. Justice Scalia was the most conservative justice on the Supreme Court, where he sat for almost 30 years. He leaves his wife, Maureen, 9 children, and 36 grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family and by this nation.

God is the Giver of Life. The Bible tells us that He has written down every day that we would live, long before we lived any of those days (Psalm 139). It says that He formed us in our mothers’ wombs, and He has a beautiful plan for our lives.

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

Attention has increasingly been drawn to this issue by celebrities, journalists, politicians and others.

While many nations are being impacted by increased violence from radical Islamic terrorists, as Christians, we must prepare to individually stand guard over the spiritual walls of our neighborhoods and cities through intercessory prayer.

Recent attacks in Paris offered the harsh reminder that terrorism is not restricted to places like the Middle East—a reminder that the western world does not always handle very well.

Dear Intercessors,

The world witnessed a horrible situation last Friday as Paris, France, was attacked in multiple locations by terrorists associated with ISIS. Over 120 were killed, and at least 180 were seriously wounded. Can you imagine how scary that would be?

The Reformation Prayer Network (RPN) is a significant aspect of our vision at Generals International. Committed to igniting a holy reformation in every sphere of society, the network spans all 50 states of the United States and connects believers from local churches and ministries in prayer for the issues facing our nation.

Our network generals come together annually to pray, strategize, and encourage each other. We met this September at Prayer Mountain in Dallas, TX. As always, it was such a powerful and refreshing time together.

Looking Ahead

2016 will be a critical year for our nation, especially with a presidential election on the horizon. People are hungry for change, and while the enemy might want to use that hunger for his own schemes, we believe that God can and will satisfy that hunger through the power of His Spirit as a praying church awakens and takes action.

Since abortion was legalized in 1973 through the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision, our nation has been in constant conflict over the issue. One thing cannot be ignored, and that is the fact that more than 57 million babies have been aborted since then.

On May 12, 2015, Cindy wrote a trip report letting you know what led up to last April’s prayer journey and shared briefly what the prophets and intercessors were saying regarding the U. S. economy shaking this coming fall. She shared that the foundation for the trip actually began in January 2008, when she heard the Lord say there was about to be a severe shaking of the economy and it had the potential to be as bad or worse than the Great Depression!

Last Thursday, a gunman fired dozens of rounds into two military centers in Chattanooga, TN, killing four marines and wounding three others, one who later died from his injuries. The shooter, 24 year-old Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, also died in the attack.
