It's Time To Start Fresh

As I was praying about what to share with you, I got the word “regret.” The Lord showed me that many of us, myself included, have regrets that we often loop back to, like “Oh, if only I’d been a better parent,” or “Oh, if only I’d done better with my funds.” We get stuck on the “if onlies.”

And this is what the Lord says to us: “I’m going to wipe away those former things. I’m doing a new thing. Don’t let the enemy cause you to get stuck in yesterday because I am your tomorrow and I am your hope. Make a list of those regrets, and give them to me. Forgive yourself if you need to; forgive others. It’s time to start anew and start fresh. The regrets will eat you up, and you can’t do anything about most of them. If you need to clear something up with someone, do it, but the point is, don’t let Satan loop regrets in your brain. Give yourself a chance for a new beginning.”
